The best infrastructure is invisible. The work behind it shouldn't be, so here is the record, with receipts.
Most of the internet works because someone you'll never meet built it right. I'm one of those people, and I wrote down how.
Ten years. Five lessons. One book.
Curiosity doesn't wait to be assigned.Everyone studied upstairs. The education was in the server room below.
Build systems that let people sleep.A system that wakes a human isn't finished.
Scale punishes cleverness.Clever impresses engineers. Simple survives them.
When everything spikes, be still.Panic moves faster than any outage.
Technology is just trust, kept.Millions rely on what my teams run. None of them ever have to think about it.
Cloud and DevOps Decoded
Everything the server room, the pager, and the decade taught me, written down for the next person making the climb. AWS deployment automation, CI/CD, Ansible, infrastructure as code, and cloud security, from first login to production judgment. "Great book for someone getting started in the field, or looking to increase breadth of knowledge", five-star Amazon review.
Peer-reviewed,
indexed, cited.
On the record,
in their words.
Security cannot be an afterthought in cloud automation. Our zero-trust approach constantly verifies every access request, regardless of its source.Sai Kiran Meda, in Technology.org
"We trusted dashboards that were optimized
for comfort instead of truth."
Credentialed,
and still studying.

scrumlo
scrumlo.com · AGPL-3.0 · estimate. retro. forgotten.
An open-source, no-login, ephemeral sprint room, planning poker, facilitated retrospectives, roadmap boards, and a shared timer over one link. When the last person leaves, the room deletes itself. No database. No accounts. No AI, by design. Privacy isn't a policy page here, it's the architecture, and the code is public so you can check.
homebrew-devopstools
An MIT-licensed Homebrew tap that provisions a complete macOS engineering workstation, 11 role-based profiles, AI/LLM tooling included, idempotent and dry-runnable. 18 releases and counting.
Next on the bench
Finch, an open-core FinOps platform bringing AI spend (Bedrock, Copilot, OpenAI, Claude) into the same ledger as cloud spend, with token-level unit economics. And a cloud maturity framework for scoring platform organizations the way he builds them. Both heading to open source.
The climb, dated.
Don't take my word
for it. Just ask.

Three interchangeable brains, one contract: in-page retrieval (free, running now) → Llama on Cloudflare's edge (free allocation) → Claude on AWS Bedrock. Grounded in the same verified record either way; your questions are never logged. The deploy runbook is in the repo.
Built the way he builds everything: grounded so it can't exaggerate, private so nothing you type is kept, and honest about what it costs. Open the hood.
